Benefits of Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal Massage
* One of the most important benefits from pregnancy massage is mental assistance and helping with ones stress

Regularly  we see mothers coming on a weekly basis for a pregnancy massage as they feel t their baby  can pick up their moods and stress levels hence they want to ‘pass on’ good carma to their baby.
*There is much Scientific evidence that shows  massage can improve your stress levels
* Naturally pregnancy massage improves joints and muscles
* Improves your blood circulation and your overall  lymphatic system ( Apple our head masseur teaches lymphatic massage so really knows about this subject)
*Loosens you muscles in preparation for birth

Post Natal Massage In many ways it is equally as important having massage after having your baby as it is having pre natal massage

*Whilst there may be stress leading up to birth the time however after birth when you are left with your new baby, possibly not fully certain what to do, sleep being disturbed and just overly tired can then  again this can be a very stressfull time
*Post natal massage is not a treat but a treatment to help with your post natal stress
* Assistance with any pain you may have – sore spots ie: The whole birth process is a strain on your body so  after birth massage is important medicine for your body
* Often a massage can be simply a bit of an escape and some alone time as well as the relaxation treatment
* In many countries they have post natal massage specialists that come to mothers’ homes every day – such is the understanding of the benefits of postnatal massaget
* just like pre birth massage can reduce swelling by your masseur working on your lymphatic system

*massage can help release of Oxytocin triggers which in turn assists milk release

* massage will certainly help your recuperation post birth

* ask for help post birth and find the time to ‘take your medicine with a post natal massage  This is important for both you and your baby * book ahead as this will cause you to plan

Congratulations to Apple on another certification. Apple recently travelled back to Thailand to compliment her many qualifications with study in Body Lift techniques

Guests from the Mornington Peninsula that visit  1028MorningtinDaySpa will know that massage is a lot more than relaxation. Our expert Masseur can utilise a combination of techniques to provide the fitting treatment you deserve and require.

Apple, a teacher of Lymphatic Massage techniques, which corrects or increases lymphatic flow and assists with wrinkled skin and is an  anti-aging techniques in itself.

Body Lift Massage contributes to flattening  out your furrows or wrinkles due to increasing  your blood flow and also releasing the restriction of your connective tissue,  whilst at the same time aiding the rising up of  your facial muscles.

ie: The connective tissues of your face weave together  as we age  due to intake of toxins to your body/skin.  The ability for the fibres to ‘slide’ past skin and bone and other fibres  is reduced as the fibres mesh together, as a result of toxin intake. Correct massage can release the locking up of fibres

A combination of Lymphatic techniques and Body Lift technique will provide detoxification and skin improvement.

For some guest use of our Detoxification Infrared Sauna will also assist the release of those nasty toxins that really hurt our skin

Do you regularly have head, neck or shoulder pain?

Did you know a chronic headache is one of the most common problems a patient sees a doctor for?

Headaches can be caused by a number of factors

(i) Tension  – the most obvious which many suffer from is Tension headaches

(ii) Posture  – posture headache – probably the most common headache I treat. Often caused by sitting at your  desk for hours a day  causing muscles to tighten

(iii) Migraine    being very severe and often associated with nausea, vomited and light sensitivity  – Massage can assist migraine symptoms but severe migraine often requires medical treatment.

Over the counter pain medication ( Aspirin  and Isobutene)   can be a  highly effective  and a  temporary solution for your headache whereas massage may help relieve headache pain and can prevent headaches from occurring in the future.

Massage   assists your headaches by promoting circulation and improving blood flow circulation, loosens chronically tight muscles, relieves muscle spasms  tension, provide tension relief and assist relaxation.
